Miss Rachael began her career at Joyful Beginnings in 2011. Rachael holds Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies, and a CDA (Child Development Associate Certification). Rachael is a NYS certified trainer, a Professional Development Specialist, and is certified in First Aid, CPR and MAT (Medication Administration Trained).
Rachael's focus is curriculum development and plans many program activities throughout the year, including the Family Fun Fair, the Annual Art Show, the Free Babysitting Night, and our Annual Fall Festival.
Rachael lives in Bloomfield with her husband, and enjoys the "country life", raising chickens, vegetable gardening, as well as canning, baking, and cooking! Rachael also enjoys camping with her family and friends and enjoying the outdoors with her chocolate lab Charlie!
Miss Ashley began here career with Pride & Joy in 2004, and was one of our first employees! Miss Ashley has played many key roles over the years as our program has grown.
Ashley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies, as well as a CDA (Child Development Associate Certification) in Infant's & Toddlers. Ashley is certified in First Aid, CPR and MAT (Medication Administration Trained).
As the Office Administrator, Ashley works at all three of our locations, and is responsible for record management and maintaining required documentation as required by all applicable health and safety codes, and licensing requirements. The Office Administrator works directly with each Program Director to ensure compliance, and to ensure that child and staff files are complete and up to date, and works with outside agencies in obtaining resources for the center, such as the Adult and Child Care Food Program, or individual families such as daycare assistance through DSS. The Office Administrator also conducts monthly safety inspections, and coordinated any necessary maintenance or repairs.
Ashley currently resides in Honeoye Falls with her family, including 2 active boys Westin and Waylon. She loves to spend time with friends, shopping and going for walks with her family and her two 2 bulldogs, Diesel and Dozer!
Miss Gina founded Pride & Joy in 1998, and grew her Family Daycare, into the organization that it is today, serving 3 communities, in beautiful centers, each serving approximately 100 children! Gina is proud to be celebrating 20 years serving children and families in the community!
Gina holds a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, and holds a NAEYC Credential in Administering Children's Programming.
As the program administrator, Gina ensures the fiscal solvency of the organization, and that the program has a clear sense of direction, developing policies, working with center directors to develop enriching programming, and maintaining a positive work environment. She also works to ensure that each of the centers operates with efficient, good communication and to devise long and short-term objectives to ensure that the future goals of the center are obtainable, and secure.
Gina lives in Rush NY with her husband and 3 children, loves the outdoors, her kitten Calypso, her dog Cowboy, and staying active!
